About Our Mission

The Christian Cochran Legacy Fund is a registered 501c through the Pittsburgh Foundation dedicated to preserving the memory of our beautiful son Christian. After a hard fought battle against Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare Cancer that effects only 8000 people in the US every year, Christian passed away September 1, 2021 at the age of 23. At Christian's request and personal wishes, we started this Foundation to follow his core belief that kindness inspires kindness, and that he wanted to do nice things for people.
Our mission is to improve the lives of young adults and families by performing Random Acts of LOVE. Consistent with the vision of our son Christian Cochran, that no act of LOVE is too small and that LOVE Inspires LOVE and to remind everyone about Christian's Beauty Full message - ​

Our Vision
To nurture a world that is inspired to do random acts of LOVE for Everyone and promote Christian's humility, kindness, joy, gratitude, self-sacrifice, selflessness, courage, and above all, unconditional LOVE for All. We want to continue the Ripple effect of Love that Christian started.
Our Purpose
To help spread Christian's message of "What's Good about Today?" - It was his daily reminder to us all that we need to focus on all that is good within each day, and to make the very most of each day spent here on earth!
Our Principles
Live simple and full. Make sharing goodness a daily activity. Devote your life to others in need and spend time every day in devotional exercise. Christian knew with certainty, that if you looked for the good in each day, you would find it.
Our Story
The Christian Cochran Foundation has partnered with The Pittsburgh Foundation, established in 1945, that works to improve the quality of life in the Pittsburgh region by evaluating and addressing community issues, promoting responsible philanthropy and connecting donors to the critical needs of the community. The Christian Cochran Foundation has been created to help start the ripple of Love that Christian believes in so much. His message of Love is simple but so meaningful to so many.
